DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, produced by Junex sometime during the late 1960s. It is tailored from a lightly mottled green-grey fabric in 100% wool. The suit is deadstock, meaning it has never been worn. All original labels remain intact, both on the jacket and the trousers.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with two buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps, as well as a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole. The cuffs are finished with three buttons. The back is straight and features a centrally placed vent. Internally, it is fully lined in a green lining fabric. It has no fewer than four inside pockets — one on the right-hand side and three on the left-hand side.
The trousers feature slanted front pockets and belt loops. They have a zip fly. At the rear there are two welt pockets with button fastening.
As mentioned, the suit is completely unworn. However, there is a small and discreet repair low down on the back. This damage is clearly not the result of wear. It is very minor and discreet and has no impact on the overall impression of the suit. Nevertheless, it should be mentioned, as one might normally assume a deadstock garment to be in absolutely perfect condition. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion regarding the condition.
SIZE
The label is marked “C 48”, though the actual size based on the jacket chest measurement is slightly smaller, corresponding to an EU 46 (US/UK 36). Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
