Vintage Neckties
We carry mostly Swedish neckties from the first half of the 20th century. They are typically made of silk and shorter than modern ties, making them the perfect complement to trousers with a high waist.
The differences between modern neckties and our
swedish vintage neckties
The vintage ties that we sell generally has a very thin lining or sometimes no lining at all. They also have a slightly more prononunced waist than most modern ties and are a bit shorter in total length, around 130 cm (modern ties are usually around 150 cm).
All this together allows a smaller more elegant tie knot which goes perfect with the classic style collars found on our Marchesan shirts as well as on the vintage detachable collars that we offer.
