DESCRIPTION
This two-piece suit is of Swedish origin and was made sometime in the latter half of the 1960s. It is by the label Man Group. The fabric is dark grey with a subtle pinstripe that becomes more apparent on closer inspection.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal welt pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The cuffs have two buttons without working buttonholes. At the back, it is straight with a single vent. Internally, the jacket is fully lined and has a total of four inner pockets—one on the right side and three on the left.
The trousers have a single front pleat and slightly slanted front pockets. They feature a zip fly and belt loops. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button fastenings.
The overall condition is very good, though there are a few minor points to note. One of the trouser pockets has a small repair, and there is some slight discolouration in the trouser lining. Neither of these issues is visible when the suit is worn, and the overall impression is close to excellent condition. Please study the images carefully to form your own assessment.
SIZE
In terms of sizing, the jacket corresponds to a modern EU 48 (UK/US 38). The trousers are slightly smaller based on the waist measurement; they currently fall between an EU 46 (UK/US 36) and EU 48 (UK/US 38). However, there is sufficient material to let them out so that they can also correspond to an EU 48 (UK/US 38). Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
