DESCRIPTION
These mid-brown boots are of Swedish origin and are stamped “Vänersborg” on the outer sole, indicating the place of manufacture. This strongly suggests they were produced by A. F. Carlsson’s Shoe Factory in Vänersborg, one of Sweden’s largest shoe factories. They are made from a sturdy leather, likely box calf, and are lined internally with khaki canvas. This pair is deadstock, meaning they have never been worn. The leather soles show only minor marks from fitting or storage – after all, they are approaching 100 years old.
