DESCRIPTION
This sports jacket carries no labels, but we nevertheless believe it to be of Norwegian origin. It was made sometime during the 1930s or 1940s and is cut from a navy cotton cloth with a discreet twill structure — a fabric typical for this type of garment.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with four buttons. It features substantial horizontal patch bellows pockets with flaps, as well as matching chest pockets, one on each side. The waist is belted, and the back is closed, with no vent. The cuffs are finished with three buttons. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has one interior pocket on each side.
The overall external condition is very good. The lining is intact; the only point to note is some light discolouration to the lining around the shoulders. Please study the photographs and form your own assessment of the condition.
