DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, tailor-made in 1960 by Olssons, a tailoring house that was located in Kiruna, in northern Sweden. It is made from a mid-grey wool fabric with a subtle pinstripe texture.
The jacket is single-breasted with a three-button front. It features horizontal front flap pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and closed — it has no vent. Internally, the jacket is fully lined and includes four inside pockets, two on each side.
The trousers have double pleats, vertical front pockets, and a zip fly. They are equipped with belt loops and feature two back pockets: the right one is slightly larger, with a flap and button closure, while the left is smaller and without a flap.
The overall condition of the suit is good. There are no visible flaws in the fabric, and the lining is also in good condition. Judging by its state, this suit appears to have seen very little use. Please examine the photos to form your own assessment.
SIZE
Converted to modern sizing, it falls between an EU 50 (UK/US 40) and EU 52 (UK/US 42). There is a generous amount of fabric in the trouser waist for letting out if needed, and some extra length in the legs as well. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
