DESCRIPTION
The Silvander glove is crafted with a meticulous attention to detail. Unlined and expertly cut, it is designed to offer a close, elegant fit that follows the natural shape of the hand. The cuff is slightly extended and neatly tapered at the wrist, allowing it to sit comfortably beneath the sleeve of a coat without shifting in wear. It fastens with a discreet press stud. Silvander makes for an ideal glove during the milder months of spring and autumn.
Produced in Transylvanien, each pair is made largely by hand, with only the joining of the individual components carried out by machine. While the region is often associated with Vlad the Impaler—the historical figure behind the Dracula legend—it also possesses a long and distinguished heritage of leather craftsmanship. Glove-making in the region can be traced back over two centuries, and our maker alone brings a century of experience to the craft.
Silvander is crafted from the finest lamb nappa leather, selected for its exceptional softness and suppleness.This type of leather will stretch slightly over time, so the gloves should fit snugly at first and will gradually mould to the shape of your hand with wear.
