DESCRIPTION 

The hat’s country of origin is unknown, but several details suggest that it may have been produced in Austria or Germany. The logo on the inside is difficult to fully decipher, yet it clearly indicates an older, German-speaking craft tradition.

The hat is black in colour and features a matching hatband and edge binding. The interior is lined with light-coloured silk, bearing a logo with the maker’s name. The light brown leather sweatband is stamped with the manufacturer’s name as well as the original owner’s initials, adding a sense of character and history.

The exterior condition is very good. The interior lining shows some discolouration, consistent with age and use, though this is not visible when the hat is worn. Please study the photographs carefully to form your own impression of the condition and details.
