AUSTRIAN 1930S DARK GREY LONG FUR FELT HAT BY DOBESCH. SIZE 60

DESCRIPTION

This hat is from the 1930s and is made of a slightly longer felt quality. It is dark grey in tone and features a broad band typical of the period. The inside is lined with a gold-coloured lining. The lining is heavily worn, but if you are familiar with old hat logos, you can still make out that it is a Dobesch, an Austrian hat, produced in Vienna. You can also make out "Stockholm," which suggests that it was imported to Sweden when it was new to be sold in a store in Stockholm.

In terms of condition, there are a few things to note. There are some damages to the felt, fortunately, these are located on the underside of the brim, meaning they are not visible when the hat is worn. They are really only noticeable when the hat is placed crown down. Please study the pictures and form your own opinion of the hat's condition.
