DESCRIPTION
These black boots are of Swedish origin; however, they bear no markings that allow us to identify the exact manufacturer. They were produced sometime during the 1930s or possibly the 1940s. Internally, they are lined with a light-coloured canvas fabric and feature leather outsoles.
In terms of condition, they are very good, close to unworn. There is a small blemish in the leather at the far back of the outer side of the right boot. Please study the images and form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The boots are marked “42” (UK 8.5 / US 9) on both the outsole and the lining. This corresponds well with the actual size. They are relatively wide in the last. Please have a look at the measurements below and compare them with a pair of shoes that fit you well.

Our range of classic shoes -vintage and contemporary alike - is carefully selected. We carry both completely unused and slightly used pairs, many of them one-of-a-kind. They vary in age - from early 1900s to today. The one thing they all have in common is that they are high quality shoes.
Using good shoe trees is an important part of caring for your quality footwear. The shoe trees serve several functions that together help extend the life of your shoes. The cedar wood effectively absorbs moisture from the shoes, while the design of the shoe trees ensures that the shoes maintain their shape. The pleasantly scented wood also helps to minimise bad odours. We offer a split-toe model that expands once inserted to ensure that the upper leather is stretched sufficiently.
