DESCRIPTION
These black calf leather Oxford shoes are of Swedish origin, the brand being Kronan. They were most likely produced sometime during the 1930s. They feature a fairly characteristic square toe cap for the period and a generally slim silhouette. Inside, they are partially lined with light-coloured canvas fabric.
The condition is used, but if properly cared for they have many years of wear left. The leather is in good condition. Please study the images and form your own opinion regarding the condition.
SIZE
The shoes are marked “42”, which corresponds fairly well to the actual size. You should be around this size, possibly up to 42.5 (UK 9 / US 9.5), and have a relatively narrow foot to wear them comfortably. Please scroll down for exact measurements.

Our range of classic shoes -vintage and contemporary alike - is carefully selected. We carry both completely unused and slightly used pairs, many of them one-of-a-kind. They vary in age - from early 1900s to today. The one thing they all have in common is that they are high quality shoes.
Using good shoe trees is an important part of caring for your quality footwear. The shoe trees serve several functions that together help extend the life of your shoes. The cedar wood effectively absorbs moisture from the shoes, while the design of the shoe trees ensures that the shoes maintain their shape. The pleasantly scented wood also helps to minimise bad odours. We offer a split-toe model that expands once inserted to ensure that the upper leather is stretched sufficiently.
