DESCRIPTION
These odd trousers were most likely produced sometime during the 1950s and are of Swedish origin. They are completely unworn and still have the original label attached to the waistband. They are made from a wool cloth with a subtle twill structure. In colour, they are light brown, with a slight olive tone.
They are high-waisted and have double front pleats and slightly slanted front pockets. They have belt loops, and there are buttons for braces on the inside of the waistband. They have a zip fly. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with flaps and button fastenings.
As mentioned above, the trousers are completely unworn. Unfortunately, they have nevertheless sustained some minor damage while in storage. There are two areas of damage to the cloth. These are not particularly noticeable and do not affect the overall impression, but should nevertheless be taken into consideration when contemplating a purchase. Please study the photographs and form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The trousers are labelled “148”, which corresponds well with the actual measurements. In terms of modern sizing, they correspond to an EU 48 LONG (US/UK 38 LONG). Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
