These black trousers bear no labels or other identifying marks, but we can nevertheless say with a high degree of confidence that they are of Swedish origin. They are made from a heavy black wool cloth typical of the period and were most likely bespoke tailored during the first decades of the 20th century.
The trousers have a flat front and vertically cut side pockets set into the side seams. They feature a button fly, while the brace buttons are attached to the outside of the waistband, as was customary at the time. At the rear there is a single jetted pocket on the right-hand side, together with an adjustable buckle at the centre back to fine-tune the fit at the waist.
In every respect, they are a highly characteristic example of trousers from the period.
Overall, they are in good condition, although there are a few minor points worth mentioning. There are several small areas of wear to the cloth, including one near the fly. These flaws are not particularly noticeable, but they should nevertheless be noted. All of them are documented in the photographs. Please examine the images carefully and form your own assessment of the condition.
