DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin and was made by Magni sometime during the 1960s. It was originally sold at Sterns, a shop located in Norrköping. The grey pinstripe cloth brings England to mind, and for good reason: it is British, produced by Fox Brothers.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel, and the cuffs have three buttons. At the back, the jacket is straight-cut and has double vents. Internally, it is fully lined and has no fewer than four pockets: one large pocket on each side, plus two slightly smaller ones on the left-hand side.
The trousers have slightly slanted front pockets and a single pleat. They have belt loops and a zip fly. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button fastenings.
The condition is excellent. On close inspection, one might find some minor discolouration in the lining, but the overall impression is very good. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
The jacket corresponds approximately to a modern EU 48 (US/UK 38) in terms of chest measurement. The trousers have a slightly larger waist, corresponding to a modern EU 50 (US/UK 40), but the waist can of course be taken in slightly if necessary. There is also some material available to let out, should that be preferable. A few extra centimetres are available in the leg length as well. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
