DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin and is by Magni, a well-known Swedish ready-to-wear label. It was most likely made sometime during the 1950s or early 1960s. The cloth is dark grey, with a composition of 90% pure wool and 10% mohair. Although predominantly dark grey, the cloth is not entirely uniform in colour and has a certain degree of mélange.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel. The cuffs have three buttons. At the back, the jacket is straight-cut and has double vents. Internally, it is fully lined and has four internal pockets, three on the left-hand side and one on the right.
The trousers have a single pleat and slightly slanted front pockets. They have a zip fly and belt loops. At the back, there is a pocket with a button fastening on the right-hand side.
The condition is excellent, with no damage or defects worth mentioning. It is virtually as new. The suit has most likely seen very little use, if any at all. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
The suit corresponds approximately to a modern EU 46–48 (US/UK 36–38). There is some material available to let out the trouser legs, if required, but there is no extra material at the waist. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
