DESCRIPTION
This suit was produced by Chester Barrie in England and sold new at the NK department store in Stockholm sometime during the 1960s. It is made from a soft wool cloth with a lovely blue tone and a subtle texture, which becomes apparent on closer inspection.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with welted openings, as well as a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel. The back is straight and has a single vent. There are four buttons at each cuff. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has one inner pocket on each side.
The trousers have a single front pleat, slightly slanted front pockets and belt loops. They have a zip fly, and there are buttons for braces on the inside of the waistband. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button fastenings.
The overall condition of this suit is very good. There are two minor defects: a small area of damage to the cloth on the lapel, and another small area of damage on the back of one sleeve. Please study the photographs and form your own opinion of the condition.
