DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin and was produced sometime during the latter half of the 1960s. The maker is Funk, a Swedish ready-to-wear label whose heyday came roughly a decade earlier. It is tailored from a dark grey pinstriped cloth.
The jacket is single-breasted with a three-button fastening. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps as well as a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole, and the cuffs are finished with three buttons. The back is straight-cut and features double vents — a detail typical of the period. Internally, the jacket is fully lined and fitted with three inside pockets: one large pocket on each side, along with a smaller additional pocket on the left-hand side.
The trousers feature a single pleat and slightly slanted front pockets. They have a zip fly and belt loops at the waistband. At the back there is one pocket on each side, both with button fastening.
As for the condition, it is very good; externally the suit appears virtually unworn. The only flaw noticeable upon close inspection is some slight discolouration in the underarm areas. Naturally, this is not visible when the suit is worn. Overall, the suit is highly classic in character, perfect for someone seeking something timeless. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
The suit corresponds approximately to a modern EU 52 (UK/US 42). There is some additional material available in the trousers should alterations be required, both at the waist and in the leg length. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
