DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin and was produced sometime during the 1960s by SIR, and originally sold at a menswear shop called Noréns. It is made from a grey marled fabric with a subtle blue stripe.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The cuffs have three buttons. At the back, it is straight and closed, with no vent. Internally, it is fully lined and has four inner pockets—one large pocket on each side, along with two additional pockets on the left.
The trousers have a single front pleat, slightly slanted front pockets, and belt loops. They feature a zip fly. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button fastenings.
In terms of condition, the exterior is very good, with no obvious signs of wear. However, there is some discolouration to the lining—both in the underarm areas and in the trouser lining. Naturally, this is not visible when the suit is worn, but it should still be noted. Please study the images carefully to form your own assessment.
SIZE
The suit corresponds to an EU 48 (UK/US 38). The trousers can be let out by a few centimetres if desired, both at the waist and in length. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
