DESCRIPTION
This suit is of British origin, by the well-known ready-to-wear brand Burton. It was most likely made sometime during the 1950s. It is mid-grey in colour.
The jacket is double-breasted with two rows of buttons, one of which is functional. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. The cuffs are finished with three buttons. At the back, it is plain (ventless). Internally, it is fully lined and has a breast pocket on the right-hand side.
The trousers feature double pleats, slanted front pockets, and a button fly. On the right-hand side there is a relatively large pocket with a flap and button fastening. The hems are turn-ups. The trousers are fitted with side adjusters, allowing the waist to be adjusted in two positions.
In terms of condition, there are some minor flaws which do not significantly affect the overall impression, but should nonetheless be noted. There are a couple of small damages to the fabric on the sleeves. The trousers have a minor flaw near the fly. There is also some discolouration to the lining in several places. Please study the images and form your own opinion of the condition.
