DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, produced sometime in the late 1950s or early 1960s, and is by the brand Klimax, a well-known Swedish ready-to-wear label. It is tailored in a British cloth—a navy blue worsted fabric.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with two buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and closed, meaning it has no vent. Internally, it is fully lined and has three inner pockets—one large pocket on each side and a smaller one on the left.
The trousers have a single pleat, slightly slanted front pockets, and belt loops. They have a zip fly, and there are buttons for braces on the inside of the waistband. The hems are finished with turn-ups. At the back, there are two pockets, one on each side, both with button closures.
Overall, the condition is very good. There are no visible damages to the fabric or defects that can be seen when the suit is worn. However, there is some light discolouration in the lining, particularly in the sleeves, as well as slightly in the trousers. This does not affect the overall impression. Please study the images carefully to form your own view of the condition.
SIZE
The overall size corresponds to an EU 46 (UK/US 36). The waist of the trousers is slightly smaller by a few centimetres, though there is additional fabric available for letting out. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
