DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin and was most likely made sometime during the 1940s, or possibly in the very early 1950s. It is by Kabom, a Swedish ready-to-wear manufacturer that enjoyed its prime during this period. The suit is made from a dark grey fabric with a clearly defined twill texture.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal welted front pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a vent. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has three inner pockets - a large one on each side and a smaller one on the right.
The trousers have double pleats, slightly slanted front pockets, belt loops, and a button fly. On the inside of the waistband, there are buttons for braces. At the back, there is a pocket on each side, both with button closures.
Regarding condition, the overall impression is good. However, a closer inspection reveals a few minor imperfections. The most noticeable is a discreet repair near the breast pocket. There are also some small discolourations on the lining, both on the jacket and the trousers. On the inside of the left thigh, there is a small flaw in the fabric. None of these issues are significant enough to affect the overall appearance. Please study the photos carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.
