DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin. It is by the brand "Herrman" and was tailored sometime during the 1960s by Schlasbergs. It is made from a mid-grey fabric featuring a subtle large light blue check pattern. The fabric is likely of British origin, as indicated by an internal label that reads "Kingswood Pure Worsted".
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal front flap pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and closed—there is no vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has three inner pockets: one large on each side and a smaller one positioned higher on the left.
The trousers have slightly slanted front pockets, belt loops, and a zip fly. They fasten at the waistband with a hook-and-eye closure. At the back, there are two pockets—one on each side—both with button closures.
The condition of the suit is very good; the only notable issue is some discolouration to the lining, particularly around the underarm area. However, this is not visible when the suit is worn and does not affect the overall impression. Please study the photos and form your own opinion regarding the condition.
SIZE
The size corresponds to a modern EU 50 (UK/US 40). There is some extra fabric in the trouser waistband that could allow for letting out if needed. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
