DESCRIPTION
Unfortunately, this suit no longer has any labels, but we can confidently say it is of Swedish origin and most likely made in the early 1950s. It is tailored from a dark grey fabric, bordering on black.
The jacket is double-breasted, featuring a characteristically low button stance typical of the era. It fastens with two rows of buttons. The front has horizontal welt pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and ventless. The interior is fully lined and includes three inner pockets: one large on each side, plus a smaller one on the left.
The trousers have a central crease, slightly slanted front pockets, and belt loops. The fly is zippered. The trouser legs are finished with turn-ups. At the back, there is one pocket on each side, both with button closures.
The overall condition is good. The only thing worth mentioning is some light discolouration in the lining, mainly in the pockets. However, this does not affect the overall appearance of the suit when worn. Please study the photos to form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
Based on the chest measurement, the jacket falls somewhere between a modern EU 50 (UK/US 40) and EU 52 (UK/US 42). Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
