DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, sewn sometime during the 1960s by Klimax for a store called Öhlunds, located in Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden. The fabric is a lightly striped dark grey material of German origin. The jacket features a period-typical high double-breasted fastening with three rows of buttons and covered buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. On the left lapel, there is a buttonhole. The back of the jacket is straight and has dual vents. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has three inner pockets—one large on each side and a small one on the left side.
The trousers have a flat front and horizontal front pockets. They feature a zipper fly. At the back, there are two rear pockets—one larger on the left side with a button closure and a small one on the right side.
The condition of the suit is overall very good, with no obvious signs of wear. Please examine the pictures and form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The size corresponds to a modern EU 48 (US/UK 38). The waist measurement of the trousers is slightly smaller, but there is ample material to let out if needed. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowances.
