DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, produced by SIR sometime in the 1960s and originally sold at a store named Herrcity in Hudiksvall, central Sweden. It is made from a dark blue mohair fabric with a subtly lighter blue checkered pattern. The jacket is double-breasted with three rows of buttons, of which two are functional. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps, as well as a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole. The back of the jacket is straight and includes a vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has four inner pockets: one large pocket on each side and two smaller pockets on the left side.
The trousers have diagonal front pockets, belt loops for suspenders, and a zipper fly. There are two back pockets, one on each side. The right pocket is slightly larger and fastens with a button, while the left one is a small pocket for a pen.
The condition is overall very good, with no visible damage. The lining is also fresh, suggesting the suit has not been worn much. Please refer to the pictures and form your own opinion about the condition.
SIZE
In terms of size, it falls between a modern EU 48 (US/UK 38) and EU 50 (US/UK 40). There is some extra fabric both in the waistband and total length of the trousers if an adjustment is needed. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
