DESCRIPTION
This suit is completely unlabelled, but we can confidently say that it is of Swedish origin and was made sometime during the 1950s. It is made from a medium grey, quite typical fabric with a subtle twill texture. The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three rows of buttons. It has horizontal front pockets and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight and lacks a vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has three inner pockets—one large one on each side, plus a smaller one just above the left pocket.
The trousers have a single pleat, a zipper fly, and belt loops. They feature vertical front pockets. At the back, there are two pockets, both with flaps and button closures.
The condition is overall good, with no obvious damage to the fabric. However, there are some discolorations in the lining, especially in the trousers. This is not visible when the suit is worn.
Please review the photos and form your own opinion on the condition.
SIZE
In size, it corresponds to a modern EU 52 (US/UK 42). It is worth noting that the leg length differs slightly between the legs, with the right leg being approximately 1 cm longer than the left. This is, of course, easy to adjust, and there is extra material to lengthen both legs if necessary. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
