DESCRIPTION
It is difficult to tell the exact origin of this suit, it is most likely not Swedish, it could have been produced in England. There are no labels. It has some very old-fashioned details, like the fish tail in the back, but we think it dates back to the 1940s or possibly a few years earlier or later. It is made in a dark blue fabric with a subtle herringbone weave. The jacket has wide lapels and a three button single breasted closure. It has horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The trousers are double pleated and has vertical front pockets. They have buttons for braces on the outside. They have a button fly with hook closure in top. They have two back pockets, each with button closure. The overall condition of the suit is good considering its age, but it is not perfect. There are some discolorations in the lining, especially in the sleeves. There is also a small repair on the backside of the trousers, hardly visible when worn. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern EU 50 (US/UK 40). The trousers are slightly larger, closer to a EU 52 (US/UK 42). Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowance.
