DESCRIPTION
This elegant three piece suit dates back to the 1940s and was produced by Kaplans and sold at Ströms, a haberdashery store that still exists in Stockholm. The jacket has a double breasted closure with two button rows. It has horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vents. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The waistcoat has a six button closure and four front pockets. It has an adjuster in the back. The trousers are single pleated and have tunnel loops. They have vertical front pockets. They have a button fly with a double button closure in top. They have two back pockets, both with flap and button closure. They have turn ups. The overall condition of the suit is great considering its age. There are not many visible flaws except for some light discoloration in the lining. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern size EU 48 (US/UK38). The waistcoat is larger, close to a modern size EU 52 (US/UK 42).
