DESCRIPTION
This double breasted suit dates back to the 1950s and is of Swedish origin. It is made in a quite unusual dark but fabric with black stripes. The cloth was produced in Italy by Marzotto. The jacket has two rows of button of which one is used. It has two horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side, plus a smaller extra pocket on the right side. The trousers have single pleats, belt loops and a zipper with button closure in the waist. They have buttons for braces. They have diagonal front pockets and one back pocket on the right side with button closure. The overall condition of this suit is very good considering its age. There are no damages other than some small discoloration in the pockets and lining, hardly noticeable. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition of the suit.
SIZE
The size would best de described as a modern size EU 50 (US/UK 40). The trousers are slightly smaller in size, closer to a EU 48 (US/UK 38). But there is some material to let out, in the waist as well as in length if needed.
