DESCRIPTION
This bespoke three piece suit was commissioned in March 1967. Made by Lillico, Hacker, in London. It is made in a mid-weight brown and green tweed fabric, with a green overcheck. The jacket has a three button closure, two front pockets and one breast pocket. It has one vent in the back. The jacket is fully lined, with one inner pocket on the left side. The sleeve length has been shortened and as a result of this only the last buttonhole is a working buttonhole. The waistcoat has a six button closure and four pockets. It has a lined back with adjuster. The trousers have double pleats and side adjusters. They have two front pockets and one back pocket on the right side. The trousers have a button fly with a hook. The condition of the suit is good overall, it doesn't show much wear. However there are a few stains on the back of the waistcoat, and the pockets show some slight discoloration. Please have a look at the images and evaluate.
SIZE
The size would best be described as a European 46 (US/UK36). There is a lot of material to let out in the trousers waist if needed, but not so much in lenght without sacrificing the turn-ups. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
