DESCRIPTION
This unmarked two piece suit dates back to the early 1940s and is most likely of Swedish origin. It is made in a grey fabric with subtle red, blue and white stripes. The jacket has a three button closure, horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has two inner pocket, one on each side. The trousers are double pleated and has a button zipper with a hook closure. They have belt loops and buttons for braces in the back, however three of the four front buttons are missing. They could of course easily be replaced with new buttons. They have two diagonal front pockets and two pockets in the back, both with button closure. They have turn-ups. The suit is definitely wearable as it is, but it has some damages. Mainly discolorations in the pockets and lining of the trousers. One of the button holes on the jacket show a lot of wear. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition of the suit.
SIZE
The size would best be described as a modern size EU 48 (US/UK 38). The trousers are slightly larger in size than the jacket, they are closer to EU 50 (US/UK 40). Of course they could easily be alternated to a slightly smaller size if needed.
