DESCRIPTION
This two piece suit was commissioned in September 1960 at the department store PUB in Stockholm. The jacket has a three button closure, horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has two large inner pockets, one on each side. There is also a smaller pocket for pens above the larger one, on the left side. The trousers are double pleated and has diagonal front pockets. They have a zipper fly with hook closure in top. They have buttons for braces and turn ups. This suit show quite a lot of wear. There is visible damage at around the right front pocket opening on the trousers, there is also some damage at one of the legs, close to the turn ups. There is visible discoloration in the lining of the jacket and also in the lining of the trousers. The suit is still perfectly wearable, but the buyer should know that the condition is far from perfect. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition of the suit.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern size EU 46 (US/UK 36). The trousers are smaller in size, closer to a modern size EU 42 (US/UK 32). There is some material to let out in the waist as well as in length. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowance.
