DESCRIPTION
This suit dates back to the late 1940s or possibly early 1950s. It is of Swedish origin, produced by Hollywood. It is made in a dark blue fabric with thin light blue stripes. The jacket has wide lapels and a two button single breasted closure. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The trousers are double pleated and has belt loops and zipper fly with buttoning in top. They have vertical front pockets and turn ups. The overall condition of the suit is good considering its age. There is no visible damage to it when worn, but there is some discoloration to the lining, especially in the pockets. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern size EU 50-52 (US/UK 40-42). The trousers are smaller, equal to a modern size EU 46 (US/UK 36). There is some material to let out in the trousers, both in the waist and in length. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowance.
