DESCRIPTION
This suit most likely dates back to the late 1940s or possibly early 1950s. It is of Swedish origin, produced by Magni. It is made in a dark blue fabric with a pinstripe weave. The jacket has wide lapels and a two button single breasted closure. They have horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has three inner pockets, one large on each side plus a smaller one on the left side. The trousers are double pleated and has belt loops and vertical front pockets. They have buttons for braces on the inside of the waistband and a zipper fly with button closure in top. They have two back pockets, each with button closure. They have turn ups. The overall condition is good considering its age. There are some discolorations to the lining, especially in the trousers, but this is nothing that will affect the overall appearance when worn. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern EU 54 (US/UK 44). The trousers are slightly larger, closer to a EU 56 (US/UK 46). Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowance.
