DESCRIPTION
Although this waistcoat bears no labels, we can say with a high degree of confidence that it is of Swedish origin and was tailored in the early 20th century. It is made from a black wool cloth, typical of the period.
The waistcoat has a high fastening and closes with six buttons. It features rounded lapels and three front pockets - one at chest height and two lower pockets. At the back is an adjustable buckle, allowing the fit to be altered. The interior is lined with a patterned fabric.
The condition is exceptional - virtually as new. Please examine the photographs carefully and form your own assessment of the condition.
SIZE
It corresponds approximately to a modern EU 52–54 (UK/US 42–44). It is worth noting that the waistcoat has been let out at some point in its life (see photographs) and is therefore slightly larger than it was originally. Please scroll down for detailed measurements.
