DESCRIPTION
This coat is of Swedish origin and was produced by Noreka, a manufacturer based in Lund (southern Sweden) that specialised in motorwear, raincoats, and similar garments. It is made from a grey-green cotton fabric typical of the period.
The coat is double-breasted with three rows of buttons, two of which are functional. It features slanted front pockets and a buttonhole on each lapel. It is belted, and there is a vent at the back. Internally, it is fully lined with a grey-brown lustrous acetate lining, also typical of this period and style of coat. It has one inside pocket on the left-hand side.
The overall condition is good, with no damage to the fabric. The only points to note are a small spot on the front, appearing as a minor mark, which may well be removable with more targeted cleaning, and some discolouration at the neck due to wear. Please study the images and form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
In terms of sizing, it falls between an EU 52 (UK/US 42) and EU 54 (UK/US 44). Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
