DESCRIPTION
This overcoat is of Swedish origin and was made sometime during the second half of the 1940s, or possibly in the early 1950s. It was originally sold at Arvid Kvist, a menswear shop in Kristianstad. The colour is distinctly blue. The cloth has a very subtle twill structure, although this is only visible on close inspection.
The overcoat is double-breasted, with a very characteristic button arrangement for the period, featuring a wide horizontal spacing between the buttons. It has vertical front pockets and a buttonhole in each lapel. At the back, there is a half-belt that gives the overcoat a defined waist, as well as a single vent. Internally, it is fully lined and has two internal pockets, one on each side.
The condition is excellent, with no significant flaws to speak of. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.

The overcoat corresponds approximately to a modern EU 46 (US/UK 36). Please scroll down for exact measurements.
