DESCRIPTION
This overcoat was made bespoke in 1934 by Assar Stenbeck, a tailoring establishment specialising in menswear that was based in Skurup, southern Sweden. It is made from a substantial dark grey overcoating cloth with a relatively pronounced herringbone structure.
The overcoat is double-breasted and has three rows of buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps. Each lapel has a buttonhole. At the back, it is straight-cut and has a single vent. Internally, the overcoat is fully lined and has one internal pocket on the right-hand side. The interior is well finished.
The overall condition is good, although not perfect. There is some minor wear to the buttonholes, as well as damage to the pocket linings, which becomes visible when the pocket flaps are lifted. Nevertheless, the overall impression remains good. Please study the photos carefully and form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
The overcoat corresponds approximately to a modern EU 46–48 (US/UK 36–38). Please scroll down for exact measurements.
