DESCRIPTION
This overcoat is of Swedish origin and was produced by Tiger, one of the best-known Swedish clothing manufacturers of the 20th century. It was most likely made sometime in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The cloth is Italian, a substantial overcoating cloth in midnight blue. The overcoat was sold new at Sterns, a menswear shop in Norrköping.
The overcoat is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a buttonhole in the left lapel. There are tabs at the cuffs. At the back, it is straight-cut and has a single vent. Internally, the overcoat is fully lined and has two internal pockets, one on each side. Both have button fastenings.
The condition is excellent, and we have been unable to find any defects. There may be some slight fuzzing of the cloth at the back, but this is only noticeable on very close inspection. The lining is also virtually as new, suggesting that the overcoat has seen very little use. Please study the photos carefully and form your own impression of the condition.
