This coat is of Swedish origin and was bespoke tailored in 1938 by a tailor named Karl E. Karlsson in Eskilstuna. It is made from a navy blue herringbone-patterned wool fabric.
The coat is double-breasted with two rows of buttons and features horizontal front pockets with flaps. The back is straight with a single vent. Internally, the coat is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side.
In terms of condition, the overall impression is good, although closer inspection reveals some minor flaws and signs of wear. For example, the cuffs show some wear. The sleeves have been lengthened at some point, which is most noticeable in the lining, where the final centimetres have been pieced. That said, the overall appearance remains very good. Please review the images and form your own assessment of the condition.
