This overcoat is of Swedish origin and was made sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. It was sold new at the men’s outfitter Delbys, a chain with several shops in Stockholm. It is made from a thick mid-grey, slightly mottled wool cloth.
The coat is double-breasted and features three rows of buttons, plus an additional button allowing it to be fastened all the way up to the neck. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and substantial lapels with buttonholes on both sides. At the back there is a half-belt and a vent.
Internally, the coat is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side.
The condition of the coat is close to perfect, with only some minor wear to the buttonholes. Otherwise, there are no visible signs of use. Please study the photographs and form your own opinion regarding the condition.
