DESCRIPTION
This coat is of Swedish origin, most likely made sometime in the early 1950s, and produced by Tiger - a well-known Swedish ready-to-wear manufacturer. They are one of the few large producers we frequently sell garments from that still exist as a brand today. The coat is made from a medium-grey heavy wool with a felt-like structure.
It is double-breasted with three rows of buttons, of which two are functional. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a buttonhole on each lapel. At the back it features a half-belt and a vent. The cuffs have four buttons. Inside, it is fully lined and has an inner pocket on each side, both with button closures. The pockets are nicely constructed, especially considering this is a ready-to-wear coat.
The condition is excellent - close to mint. There are no defects worth mentioning and no visible signs of wear. Please study the photos and form your own impression of the condition.
SIZE
In terms of size, it sits somewhere between a modern EU 46 (US/UK 36) and EU 48 (US/UK 38). As is usually the case with this type of coat, the fit will depend greatly on what is worn underneath. Note that the stated size assumes it is worn over a jacket. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
