DESCRIPTION
This elegant raglan overcoat is of Swedish origin, produced sometime during the 1930s or 1940s by K.L. AB. It is made from a brown fabric with a distinct herringbone pattern. The coat is single-breasted with a concealed button front. It fastens with four buttons, plus an additional top button that allows it to close all the way up to the neck. There are vertical front pockets, and on the left side of the collar there is a buttonhole for securing the top button on windy days. The back is straight with a centre vent. Inside, the coat is fully lined and features two inner pockets – one on each side.
The overall condition of the coat is very good, but there is one flaw to be aware of when considering a purchase: a small round hole located low down on the right-hand side of the coat. This could certainly be made less visible with a discreet repair, but we have chosen to leave it as is, and the price reflects this imperfection. Please refer to the photos to make your own assessment of the coat’s condition.
