DESCRIPTION
This raglan overcoat is of Swedish origin and was tailored sometime during the 1950s by Steens, a menswear company that operated both as a tailor and a retailer in Stockholm. It is made from a subtly mottled dark grey wool fabric.
The coat is single-breasted with a concealed button placket, fastening with four buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps, and a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is straight with a single vent. Inside, it is fully lined and has two interior pockets, one on each side.
The condition is good, with no visible damage to the fabric or lining. Please examine the photos carefully to form your own opinion of the condition.
SIZE
The coat corresponds to a modern EU size 56 (UK/US 46). It is a relatively short model, particularly noticeable in the sleeve length, which is quite short. However, there is sufficient fabric to lengthen the sleeves by approximately 9 centimetres if desired. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
