DESCRIPTION
This coat was made in England for the Swedish clothing company Gulins and imported to Sweden. It is somewhat unusual in that, during this time, most coats on the Swedish market were still made in Sweden. The coat is made from a herringbone-patterned Harris Tweed fabric with a distinct blue tone. It is double-breasted with three rows of buttons. It features large patch pockets with flaps, and the back is straight with a high vent. The coat is fully lined, and the sleeves appear to have been lengthened at some point, with a trim sewn into the lining.
The condition is near perfect, with no noticeable damage except for some minor wear to the button-holes. Please review the photos and form your own opinion about its condition.
SIZE
In size, it corresponds to a modern EU 48 Long (US/UK 38 Long). The sleeves are particularly long in relation to the size of the coat, but they can obviously be adjusted. The shoulder width is slightly broader than on a standard EU 48 (US/UK 38), so it should fit well on someone with relatively broad shoulders and an EU 48 (US/UK 38) build.
