DESCRIPTION
This overcoat is of Italian origin and dates back to the 1950s or 1960s. It has a label saying "Super vigugna the best young goat". Vicuña wool refers to the hair of the South American vicuña, a smaller relative to the more known Llama. This wool is considered the most exclusive in the world. They have the finest wool of any known animal, about twice as fine as cashmere. The coat feels very soft, but it is impossible to say if it is a mix with Vicuña and regular wool or not. The coat has a four button single breasted closure, vertical front pockets and one vent in the back. It is fully lined and has one vertical inner pocket, on the left side. The condition is great, there are no obvious signs of wear. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
Trivia: The text on the label says "goat" but the Vicuña actually belongs to the Camelidae family. This is probably due to a mistake in the translation.
