DESCRIPTION
This classic tweed jacket has no labels, so it is difficult to say anything with certainty about its exact origin. Nevertheless, a number of conclusions can be drawn by studying the jacket. It was most likely made in Sweden sometime during the 1960s. It is made from a substantial grey tweed cloth with an overlaid checked pattern in a darker shade of grey.
The jacket is single-breasted and has three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel. There is one button at each cuff. At the back, it is straight-cut and has double vents, a detail that helps date it to the 1960s, as jackets were generally made with single vents before this period. Internally, it is fully lined and has four internal pockets, two on each side.
The condition is excellent, with no significant damage to speak of. The lining is also in good condition. Please study the photos carefully and form your own impression of the condition.
