DESCRIPTION
This jacket was originally sold in the United States, at Frederick & Nelson in Seattle. It was produced by Mavest and is made from a heavy Harris Tweed cloth in a large check. As is the case with many Harris Tweed cloths, it contains a variety of different colours – red, brown, yellow and green.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps. There is a breast pocket and a buttonhole in the left lapel. The back is straight and has a single vent. Inside, it is half-lined in the traditional American style. It has two inner pockets, one on each side.
The condition is perfectly decent, if not actually very good on the outside. There is, however, some minor damage to the lining. This is of course not visible when the jacket is worn, but should nevertheless be taken into consideration when contemplating a purchase. Please study the photographs and form your own opinion of the condition.
