DESCRIPTION
This tweed jacket is of American origin and was originally sold at a shop called Levee’s sometime during the 1950s. It is made from a heavy grey marled Harris Tweed fabric. The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features patch front pockets and a breast pocket. The cuffs have two buttons without working buttonholes. At the back, it is straight with a single vent. Internally, the jacket is half-lined in a typically American style, and it has two inner pockets—one on each side.
In terms of condition, the overall impression is good. However, on closer inspection there are a few minor flaws. There is a small area of damage to the fabric on one side, as well as a couple of faint stains and some wear to the lining. None of these issues significantly affect the overall appearance. Please study the images carefully to form your own assessment.
SIZE
The jacket is labelled “44 LONG” inside one of the inner pockets, and the actual fit corresponds well with this. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
