DESCRIPTION
This smoking jacket bears no labels, but is most likely of Swedish origin. It was made sometime during the 1940s, or possibly the early 1950s. It is crafted from a burgundy wool cloth and features red and white braid detailing around the pockets and edges.
It is double-breasted with two rows of buttons. It has horizontal front pockets as well as a breast pocket. The cuffs are finished with decorative braid. At the back, it is straight and closed, with no vent. Internally, it is unlined.
In terms of condition, the overall impression is good. However, upon closer inspection, a number of minor flaws become apparent. These mainly consist of small damages to the cloth, all of which are documented in the photographs. The flaws are discreet, and the jacket remains perfectly wearable in its current condition. Please study the photographs carefully to form your own assessment.
